Zach Zhu
TCM Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Specialist
CMCNZ & ACC registered
My family has deep roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), passed down through generations. My ancestors were not only skilled healers but also innovators, known for their compassion and dedication. Growing up surrounded by this rich tradition naturally led me to follow the same path.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the human body, and a strong commitment to holistic healing. Inspired by my father’s integrity, empathy, and lifelong dedication to medicine, I aim to bring the same care and respect to every patient I meet. Seeing people regain their health and improve their quality of life is the greatest reward of my work.
My core expertise is in acupuncture for pain management and the use of traditional Chinese herbal formulas tailored to individual needs. I’ve treated a wide range of conditions—chronic pain, joint and nerve disorders, facial paralysis, insomnia, and digestive issues—always using TCM’s holistic and natural approach. TCM doesn’t just treat symptoms; it restores balance and supports the body’s own healing capacity. This philosophy is something I’m passionate about sharing with the New Zealand community.
Why New Zealand? My decision to move here is deeply personal. Years ago, at my father’s funeral, people came from far and wide to honour the care he had given them. That moment showed me how healing knows no borders. My father’s legacy of trust and compassion inspires me to continue his journey—now on new soil.
I’ve now settled in New Zealand, bringing with me the wisdom of generations and a sincere dedication to healing. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your path to better health.
